Description
Summary:In this paper, we present a mathematical analysis of an EEG model proposed by Wendling et al. We analyze the Hopf bifurcation and saddle-node bifurcation phenomenon of the model for explaining how it can produce several different types of EEG activity. We give a fairly detailed description of the behavior of the model by the bifurcation diagram. Study on bifurcations of Wendling's model provides further theoretical reference for understanding brain's nonlinear electric activity.
