Summary: | CTCS-3 (Chinese Train Control System Level 3) is the key technology that ensures the safety, reliability and high efficiency of train operation. In order to verify whether a CTCS-3 system is consistent with the system requirements specifications, it is necessary to carry out a series of testing including laboratory testing, field testing, integration testing and commissioning, as well as interoperability testing, for whose purpose a set of test sequences must be prepared. In this paper, a computer-aided tool used for the generation of test sequence is studied, which can provide the user with an integrated graphical editing environment with such functions as electronic management of test cases and test sequences, automatic drawing of track layout, automatic generation of test sequence files in MS WORD format, as well as automatic generation of XML test scripts to be executed in the laboratory CTCS-3 simulation platform. Firstly the composition of the tool is introduced and the functional requirements of each constituent are described, secondly, the software architecture, implementation and some key technical issues of the tool are described, thirdly the process for generating a test sequence by means of the tool is described in detail, and finally some future works are envisaged. With this tool, the efficiency of preparing test sequence can be greatly enhanced, and the feasibility of a test sequence can be verified by built-in simulation. |
