2.04 μm light generation from a Ti:Sapphire laser using a Photonic Crystal Fiber with low OH loss

We report on the generation of 2.04 μm light from an 801 nm Ti:Sapphire source via soliton self-frequency shift and resonant dispersive wave emission in a PCF with low OH loss and broad anomalous dispersion region.
