Description
Summary:In this paper a novel method to design a controller for thermal solar energy system is proposed. The method developed criteria to select a controller that ensures the stability of the system and removes any offset that may occur due to disturbances. To ensure the stability of the controlled system, Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI) based criteria are developed to obtain a suitable value for the controller gain. The method is verified through a simulation where the controller succeeded in preserving the required output value.
