Description
Summary:In this paper, we report detailed simulation and measurement results on a broadband carpet cloaking structure, which is made of a high-ϵ dielectric-loaded foam mixture. A polyurethane foam, mixed with different ratios of barium titanate is used to produce the required range of permittivities. The cloak is demonstrated to operate for all incident angles, over a wide range of microwave frequencies. We anticipate that the proposed approach will greatly facilitate the development and large-scale manufacture of a wide range of antenna structures derived from transformation electromagnetics.
