Description
Summary:The object of this paper is to predict the time that the most dangerous earthquake appeared in the past earthquake record. The scaling exponent in the Gutenberg-Richter relation, where is known as the b-value, is applied to outline the seismicity evolution to reveal precursory phenomena. In the present paper, we show that the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is applied to filter the time of the most dangerous earthquake occurred from the chaotic modeling of the seismicity evolution of real earthquake datum.
