A k/sup th/ order reaction: application of high codimension bifurcation theory
High codimension bifurcation theory is applied to a PI controlled continuous stirred tank reactor with an exothermic k/sup t/h order reaction, in order to explain the arising complex dynamic phenomena. Special attention is paid to the detection of high codimension bifurcations.
