Linear fiberoptics in wireless communication systems
Repeaters fed by fiberoptics can extend coverage and capacity without the added time and expense of installing additional base stations. Fiberoptics can further enhance wireless communication systems by providing in-building coverage. Applications of fiberoptics in these systems will be presented.
