Summary:Energy storage technology is playing an important role in improving power grid stability and reliability. A scheme of mechanical elastic storage energy and power generation system has been proposed in the paper. Flat spiral spring is the core element in the system. Dynamic analysis and simulation of the flat spiral spring are carried out. Based on the theory of flexible body and ADAMS platform, the torque changes of the flat spiral spring with constant angular velocity is studied, and its characteristic curve is plotted. The spring energy storage curve is also obtained by stacking the rotation Angle change curve and the torque curve. Moreover, the maximum torque and the maximum store energy under the constant angular velocity are analyzed. All the results in this paper provide a strong basis for the optimization design of spring and the calculation of energy density.
