Summary: | Bearing similarity to random noise, frequency-modulated chaos signal have advantages in terms of measure accuracy, target detection capability and electromagnetic compatibility. Besides, it's easy to produce, duplicate and apply. On basis of mathematical modeling of discrete chaos mapping, this paper analyzes three types of frequency-modulated chaos signals. The Autocorrelation Function, Power Spectrum Density and Ambiguity Function of chaos signals are discussed. In comparison to Chirp signal, range resolution and Doppler frequency mismatch properties are studied respectively so as to investigate the feasibility of applying chaos signal in pulse compression radar system. |
