Description
Summary:Ultra-fine Ba 0.5 Sr 0.5 Fe 12 O 19 nanopowders have been successfully synthesized by chemical co-precipitation method. The thermal properties of the samples were measured using DTA/TG. The phase of the powder was observed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), and the microstructure of the sample was observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The effects of pH value, Fe/Ba molar ratio, holding time, and calcination temperature on the structures and morphologies of the resultant products were investigated. The results indicated that the Ba 0.5 Sr 0.5 Fe 12 O 19 powder with a single phase can be synthesized successfully at 1000 °C for 2 h. And the products have an ultrafine particle size of 100-200 nm with a granular particle shape.
