On the effectiveness of effective bandwidths for call admission control in military ATM networks

This paper presents a new method of approximation of effective bandwidths for connection admission control (CAC) in ATM networks. The accuracy of the extended effective bandwidth method proposed in the paper was examined through simulation experiments.
