Description
Summary:Ad hoc network is a temporary network connection that can change locations and configure itself on the fly. Packet may loss in network due to frequent link failure in ad hoc network. In this paper, we maintaining log at each router to find out where the loss actually occurred and a special scheme used is Bypass routing which discover a temporary path during link failure. The node then forwards the buffered packets to the destination without any loss. The significant nodes are assumed and implemented by using SLR (Source Routing with Local Recovery)as a prototype. This model achieves significantly higher throughput while maintaining acceptable overhead.
