A cost-effective scheme of high-radix optical burst switch based on fast tunable lasers and cyclic AWG

This paper proposes a new scheme using single N×N cyclic AWG and fast tunable lasers to realize a high-radix kN×kN optical burst switch, which is cost-effective compared with kN×kN AWG and cascaded N×N AWGs schemes.
