Summary: | In a thyristorised phase controlled rectifier with dynamic load such as separately excited dc motor drives, the motor armature current exhibits various types of evolutions in continuous time depending on the system parameters. Hence different types of borderline conditions may exist in such drive system which lead to border collision bifurcation in many cases. The observed borderlines have been defined and explained here. Some representative bifurcation diagrams are reported to exhibit the occurrence of different types of border collision bifurcations in such system. |
