Summary:In order to solve the stress problems on a human femur with complete metal hip or knee joint prosthesis, we have to know the values of the hip's or knee's forces and moments at various times of the human gait. This article presents a computer simulation of human gait. To determine the forces and moments, it means that the differential equations of the dynamics of human gait must be solved numerically.
