Time domain hybrid QAM based rate-adaptive optical transmissions using high speed DACs
We present the transmission of time domain hybrid QAM signals in order to maximize spectral efficiency according to link conditions. Single carrier (28 Gbaud) and superchannel (up to 1.15 Tb/s) transmission is demonstrated.
