Design of SAW correlation devices with evolutionary strategy methods (EVCOR)
A new method is presented that allows to evaluate code word ensembles for any code length, which have good correlation behavior at incomplete correlation in SAW (surface acoustic wave) technology. The algorithm uses the principles of the biological evolutionary strategy for the optimization. The mai...

description | A new method is presented that allows to evaluate code word ensembles for any code length, which have good correlation behavior at incomplete correlation in SAW (surface acoustic wave) technology. The algorithm uses the principles of the biological evolutionary strategy for the optimization. The main point is a random variation of the sequences for phase-shift keying (PSK) filter structures by an algorithm simulating biological mutation. The cycle of mutation and selection is repeated until the resulting layout is optimized fulfilling secondary conditions in addition. Using this method, evaluation time could be reduced considerably. Some results of codes obtained for incomplete correlation filters have been presented. |
