Summary:The German Savings Banks Organization is establishing an application development model as a standard for object-oriented development. In an AD-Model project we developed an object-oriented methodology based on the UML notation. It contains a tailorable life cycle model and several architectural guidelines. The development process is extended with subprocesses for quality assurance, security, project management and reuse.
