Description
Summary:Loudness control is the process of analysing and manipulating the audio components within a digital stream with the aim of maintaining the average loudness as consistent as possible together with providing a better Quality of Experience. This research extends the ITU BS.1770 and the EBU R128 standards by performing corrections in real-time with tight input-to-output delays, close to 24ms, and low resource usage as confirmed by the subjective testing and quality assurance methods performed.
