Description
Summary:The primary aim of the project is to build a robot that is capable of reaching every point of a given cuboidal structure, without any human effort. In real world, structures with perfect planes are rarely encountered. Hence, to include the ability of traversing uneven surfaces, a legged robot is designed. As one of its many applications, we illustrate its use in washing a car, with minimal usage of water. This idea can be extended to design robots capable of reaching remote points in skyscrapers, for painting, cleaning and allied purposes, which eliminates the need to put human life at risk. Also, the application demonstrated in the project is expected to put an end to the problem of excessive usage of water that is associated with any technique of washing a car, available today.
