Summary: | In this work, an adaptive integral sliding mode control (AISMC) is proposed for the purpose of regulating the ICE air path. The main contribution of this paper is the combination of the traditional SMC with an adaptive gain mechanism coupled with an integral action in the definition of the sliding surface. The simulation results show the ability of the proposed controller to achieve fault tolerant performance against parametric uncertainties and actuator faults. |
