Summary: | This paper presents a new method to design a multi-band antenna. The aim is to realize an antenna with dipolar radiations at several resonance frequencies. We study a monopole antenna that naturally exhibits a dipole and a quadrupole mode for the first and second resonance frequency respectively. In order to change the quadrupole mode into a dipole mode, two parasitic resonant elements are added to the antenna. This behavior is studied in near field and in far field. In this paper, a monopole on flexible substrate is studied. |
