Description
Summary:A printed dipole antenna for radio frequency identification (RFID) reader operating at an ultra high frequency (UHF) band is presented in this paper. The proposed antenna consists of a meandered dipole with a shunt line and a finite-size ground plane. The shunt line and the finite-size ground are involved to obtain the good impedance matching. Features of the proposed antenna include a compact size of 50Ă—40 mm 2 , simple structure and moderate omnidirectional gain over the interested frequency band. The proposed antenna works in 920-925 MHz band, and it is easy to suit different UHF ranges used in other regions with simple parameter adjustments.
