Summary: | Free 60 GHz radios have unique characteristics that make them significantly different from traditional 2.4GHz or 5GHz license-free radios and from licensed-band millimeter-wave radios. These characteristics make 60 GHz radios more attractive for wireless systems. In this paper, dipole like Vivaldi antenna is designed to meet the requirements of 60GHz band. The feeding circuit is 100 Ω differential feeding. The operating bands range is (54GHz to 70GHz). The radiation patterns, efficiency, reflection coefficients (S 11 ), directivity and radiation gain are illustrated. The design is fabricated using one substrate of quartz glass. The antenna size is 2.225×0.3276×0.675 mm 3 . |
