Description
Summary:The Arctic environment offers the biggest challenge for In-SAR; huge seasonal change, ice and snow cover for much of the year, and large variations in soil moisture. Yet the Arctic is often seen as a barometer for climate change and therefore being able to exploit technologies such as InSAR provides invaluable information not only for the communities involved, but also for climate change science as a whole. Furthermore, InSAR's unmatched spatial coverage make it an obvious choice for covering vast landmasses such as the Canadian Archipelago.
