Reduced order H∞ controllers using hessenberg reduction

In this paper, a new canonical parametrization of stable, strictly proper, real rational systems with a given finite H ∞ norm is derived using a reduction to Hessenberg form. This parametrization is used to develop a new approach to the computation of reduced order H ∞ controllers.
