Description
Summary:In this paper, propagation mechanisms in a confined complex environment are experimentally investigated and modeled at 10 GHz. A campus student's lockers room is chosen as a propagation environment. The proposed model is implemented in Matlab using a combination of the ray tracing algorithm and uniform geometrical theory of diffraction. Moreover, a commercial ray tracing tool is used to derive wideband parameters. The comparison of analytical and experimental results reveals a strong agreement which confirm the accuracy of the developed model for prediction of electromagnetic waves behavior in the wireless propagation channel.
