description In this paper, a Profibus-ZigBee communication using low cost gateway is presented. The gateway is implemented using an electronic circuit and an embedded device. In this way, the transfered data and the used syntax to establish the communication are presented. The proposed implementation can be used in monitoring and control through wireless industrial communication between commercial devices (for instance PLC Siemens ) and self-developed devices. Thus, a range of industrial potential applications can be used with the proposed approach.
