Summary:* This talk presented the design and implementation of an IPv6 capable LDACS emulator. * The emulation correlates well with the performance characteristics predicted by the simulation. * SESAR can benefit from our results by the availability of an LDACS emulator before the LDACS prototypes become available. * The emulated LDACS subnetwork can be embedded into a larger IPv6 networks in a realistic way to evaluate and verify the concepts proposed by SESAR 15.2.4. * In the future the LDACS emulator shall be extended * to support other (non-default) LDACS configurations. * to include a full emulation of the LDACS QoS mechanisms.
