Discrete-frequency infrared microspectroscopy using monolithically integrated photonic filters

We present a discrete-frequency infrared (DF-IR) approach to efficient mid-infrared microspectroscopy using a set of monolithically integrated guided mode resonance photonic filters, as an alternative to the continuously scanning Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) technique.
