Internal impedance of conductors of rectangular cross section

It is shown that the high-frequency (skin effect) internal resistance and internal inductive reactance are not equal for conductors of rectangular cross section as they are for conductors of circular cross section such as wires. A numerical method is used to demonstrate this and to show the errors i...

Description
Summary:It is shown that the high-frequency (skin effect) internal resistance and internal inductive reactance are not equal for conductors of rectangular cross section as they are for conductors of circular cross section such as wires. A numerical method is used to demonstrate this and to show the errors incurred in using this approach.
