Summary: | The focus of this work is to compare the different flux estimators in an induction motor(IM) direct torque control system (DTC) for wide speed operation. The back electromotive force (EMF) has to be integrated to estimate the stator flux linkage. The error in the stator flux linkage is due to the initial condition and DC offset in the acquired feedback signals. The flux estimation techniques, which overcome the initial condition and DC offset problems are explained and implemented experimentally in an open loop on a 1.1Kw induction motor for a speed range of 60rpm to 3000rpm (revolutions per minute) in motoring mode. |
