This paper aims to discuss four key elements imperative to conducting an effective simulation study and how they impact the progress of the study.: The Clue determining when and why to use simulation and what issues will be addressed. The Cash understanding the financial costs and the impact of the project . The Commitment and the Courage the importance of having a team committed to the endeavor and having the courage to make hard decisions so that the project will be successful Each of these key factors are critical to starting a successful project and keeping it on track towards proposing effective solutions for the problems the model was designed to address.
