A novel forklift safety system utilizing Xbees and directional Microstrip Patch Antennas

A forklift safety system has been designed, manufactured, and tested. The system utilizes Microstrip Patch Antennas, Arduino microcontrollers, and Xbee wireless communication modules to notify forklift operators to the general location of nearby pedestrians.
