Summary:Two ARQ schemes, the selective repeat protocol (SRP) and the partial selective repeat superimposed on GBN (PRIME) ARQ protocol are examined as alternatives to go-back-N ARQ, the ARQ scheme used in WAND (Wireless ATM Network Demonstrator, ACTS project AC085). The work is focused on the performance evaluation and performance comparison of these two schemes as well as on the comparison of these schemes with GBN ARQ.
