Summary: | A compact, simple and elfin printed unequal legs of rectangular U shaped fork patch antenna is proposed for Ultra Wideband (UWB) and Multiband applications. Ultra wide band operation covers 3.1-10.6 GHz (UWB) frequency band and also enhanced bands which are extremely wider than UWB are obtained by using unequal legs of rectangular U shaped fork radiating patch and a modified ground plane. The proposed antenna gives the Omni-directional radiation pattern and acceptable gain over UWB and multiple enhanced frequency bands. The proposed antenna is tested and fabricated. |
