Dynamic restoration of seed lightwave distribution system for low-DSP-complexity coherent optical networks

We demonstrate a failure-tolerant seed lightwave distribution system by using commercially-available ROADMs and a customized centralized controller. Ability of coherent communication with low DSP-complexity can be quickly and automatically restored against seed lightwave loss.
