Description
Summary:The second-order cascading effects in LBO crystals, which have high optical damage threshold and wide transparency range from 155 nm to 3.2 /spl mu/m, was investigated in the vicinity of non-critical phase-matching temperature by temperature tuning. Non-critical phase-matching temperature was measured and the dependence of phase mismatch on temperature was investigated. The nonlinear transmittance and nonlinear phase shift, as a function of temperature, were also measured.
