Summary:The cyber-physical system is a core issue of Industrie 4.0. One of the main tasks is to create a digital twin with acquired data from a physical system. In this study, a data acquisition system was constructed for the heterogeneous machines using the sensor-based I/O module. Three different types of heterogeneous machines on the shop floor were considered. The results of the study may be applied to other types of machines. In the end, the application of monitoring machine operation status was conducted. The data were archived into MySQL database for the further application.
