Description
Summary:In this paper, we focus on the dynamic time slot allocation algorithm based on Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) in distribution class protocol. Based on the existing TDMA protocol in Ad hoc networks, this paper proposes a dynamic TDMA protocol according to node neighborhood information(TDMA-NNI). The protocol establishes a time slot occupancy table for nodes within the two-hop range by listening to the control packets periodically broadcasted by the neighboring nodes in the control period, and ensures the effective and reliable reservation and release of the node time slot through a series of security mechanisms. In this paper, we use the NS-3 network simulator as the simulation platform. The performance of TDMA-NNI protocol, FPRP protocol and IEEE802.11 protocol are compared in this paper. The three network performance are measured, such as network throughput, average end-to-end delay and packet loss rate. The simulation results show that the TDMA-NNI protocol proposed in this paper optimize the performance compared with the IEEE802.11 and FPRP protocols.
