Such a migration takes a long time and cannot be hidden from the user unless an additional layer of software is put in between. RZG is using MR-AFS as such a layer. The features of MR-AFS are presented once again. RZG's experiences with HSM-migrations and the usage patterns of MR-AFS are discussed.
