Summary: | In the process of the development of a optical fiber beam quality measurement system, which is based on machine vision, it is required that a light bean should incident on the light sensor of the CMOS camera to calculate the quality parameters of the optical spot more accurately. In this paper, a method based on positioning the spot center and variable universe fuzzy PID algorithm is introduced, and the fast and efficient colliboration of the fiber optic beam is realized. Simulation results showed that the collimation control system based on variable universe fuzzy PID algorithm has high efficiency and accuracy, and it can effectively control the overshoot. Experimental data indicate that comparing with manual collimation, the system introduced in the paper is more stable and accurate, and it can save a lot of time. |
