Description
Summary:The partial shading is a curse for photovoltaic (PV) systems. Partial shading conditions reduce PV array outputs and may present multiple maximum power points on I-V characteristics due to mismatches among PV modules. Mismatch losses rely on shading pattern, PV technologies, PV topologies, and the location of the shaded PV panel in the array. The main objective of this paper is to model, to simulate and to investigate performance indicators behaviour under partial shading. The PV plant under study is a 7.2kWp grid connected via a three phases solar inverter.
