Summary:This paper deals with a developed photovoltaic generator emulator and its experimental validation. Experimental tests aim to evaluate its operating performances and its ability to be used for standard tests. This paper proposes an experimental Set up for a PV generator emulator in order to evaluate its ability to reproduce the behaviour of a real PV generator. Then, the evaluation methodology consists to test the proposed control algorithm and the power topology under different conditions and compares to a real PV generator results.
