Simulation study of synthetic antiferromagnetic biased spin valve heads by using semi-classical GMR theory

The increase in areal density 10Gbit/inch2, requires Spin Valve (SV) heads with higher sensitivity to media field. It is possible to increase the head sensitivity by using thinner free layer in SV heads.
