Summary:In order to alleviate the environmental pollution in the port, more and more ports have begun to supply power to various ships moored at the port. Ships can be connected to the shore-to-ship power source to get the power instead of fuel electricity generation. Thus, the air pollution, water pollution and noise caused by the generation of electricity can be avoided. However, at present, most shore-to-ship power supply equipment has the disadvantages of simple equipment, low intelligence and low safety. In order to overcome the disadvantages of traditional power connecting pile, a new control system is proposed in this paper. The high-performance SIEMENS PLC is applied as the main controller in the power connecting pile. It can provide convenient power supply service for the mooring ships through the operation mode combining the touch screen with the physical buttons. The power connecting pile has the functions of identity identification, power supply guidance, electricity charge, temperature and humidity control, and fault diagnosis. The new system will increase the intelligence and safety of the power connecting piles.
