Summary: | In this research, a centrifugal compressor driven by a high speed permanent magnet synchronous motor for automotive fuel cell engines has been designed. Based on the software CFturbo, a three-dimensional model of the compressor is generated. Use TurboGrid module of ANSYS to generate structured grids in the area of flow passages. A CFD software CFX is used to simulate three dimensional flow field of the designed centrifugal compressor. During the design process, in order to satisfy the characteristic curves of impeller and requirements of aerodynamic characteristics, the impeller is constantly optimized and improved. Finally, the load of the blade is analyzed and some adjustments are made so that it meets the mechanical properties. |
