Summary: | Biodiversity assessment has become an urgent problem for biodiversity conservation. Grasping the precise biodiversity information is the foundation of scientific decision-making for biodiversity conservation. This paper created a set of comprehensive index system for evaluating regional biodiversity, which are the index of biological abundance, the area ratio of protected zone, the coverage of woodland, the coverage of grassland, the area ratio of wetland, the index of ecosystem type diversity, national protected species (flora and fauna) diversity index, the ratio of cultivated land and construction land area. Order relation analysis method was selected to determine the weight. We chose Qingchuan county as the typical assessment unit to evaluate the function of biodiversity based on this method. The result shows that the comprehensive index of biodiversity assessment of Qingchuan county in 2015 was 74.76, which illustrates that the biodiversity function in Qingchuan county is superior, the carrying capacity of the ecosystem is high, ecological function is stable and self-regulating ability is strong. |
