Summary: | This Work focuses on design and analysis of rectangular microstrip patch antenna simulated and manufactured for operating in the microwave band at a frequency of 5.8 GHz, using metamaterial technology which is a layer of 9-by-9 matrix of a Circular split ring resonators (SRR) .The MTM Superstrate can modify the radiation pattern and exhibit gain enhancement about 5 dB higher than the maximum gain of the original patch. Simulation and discussion results of the proposed antenna are presented in this letter. |
